My mother says that the world used to be divided up into lots of little countries. That's all changed. Now, almost all the nations of the Earth belong to the Solar Alliance. There are a few exceptions, like Egypt and the People's Republic of China out in the Gobi Desert but everyone else is happy to be part of the Alliance, on Earth or elsewhere.
