| Roger Manning (left), using a model of a rocket cruiser, assists Astro (center) and Tom Corbett in reviewing their studies at Space Academy. The cadets were good role models for their young fans, being serious students working toward earning their commissions in the Solar Guard. The road to graduation at the Academy was long and demanding, and we were constantly reminded of the importance of education throughout the course of the show. The Space Cadets were definitely not just a bunch of random space adventurers! |
